Still working on Rainbows in Pre-K.  Perfect fit for a little Rainbow Fish Fun!!! We made our Rainbow Fish for old CD’s.  The template is in our Rainbow Fish Pack.  Get it here! Who does not love the Rainbow Fish Books?  A selfish beautiful fish realizes his wrong doings and finds out in the end the true way to happiness.  It really is a beautiful story and a great way to teach little ones about kindness and sharing!  I have used the story in my Third Grade Sunday School class and even the older kiddos still enjoy the story and recall why it is better to love and be kind than to be selfish.  I created this mini unit for Preschool and Kindergarten to go along with a Rainbow Theme… we are doing a day all...

Phew… another Friday of Rainbow fun in Pre-K is done… We made cloud Rainbows like seen below. So light and colorful! We made milk rainbows, like this one! Yes, we finally caught a rainbow.  You can view more details about milk rainbows here.    We put together a rainbow puzzle!  It was good practice for counting from 10 to 17.  You can download and use the puzzle below.  We put ours together and then used a glue stick to put it on the paper. I just posted a new Rainbow themed packet to my store.  If you teach Kindergarten on Preschool you might want to get this for March teaching fun!  It is filled with math and reading fun – plus a few printable colorful crafts! My daughter asked to make the Fruit Loops Rainbows with her friend yesterday.  You may have seen them on the blog in the past!  They always turn out so nice! So here are their rainbows. They had so much fun.  Just use Elmer’s glue to glue down each color of Fruit Loops.  I drew the link of glue and they put down the color on the line.  We used mini marshmallows for the clouds. As they were laying to dry, I started asking my daughter and her friend how many reds were in their rainbows.  They were amazed that the answers for...

April is coming and you know the saying…  April showers bring May Flowers.  Hopefully the April showers will bring a rainbow too.  Here are a few ideas for learning with Rainbows!!! Rocking Around The Calendar Teaching Heart Tea

What a special treat to be the presenter at the Bower Hill Elementary School Kindergarten Tea in Peters Township, PA!  The Kindergarten Teachers, the Principal, and the PTA really strive to make this event such a fun and resourceful day for local Preschool and Kindergarten teachers. I am so excited to share the wonderful pictures I have from the day!!!   Perhaps it’s an idea your school may want to try!
