Trying to find things to go along with  a Gingerbread unit that use our senses.  I wanted to paint Gingerbread houses and thought it would be great it they could smell yummy after they dry.  I figured out how…  Grab some Kool-Aide or the Generic brand like I used (it is much cheaper and works as well).  Find small containers for each color.  Empty the packet into a container.  Add water slowly…  just enough to make the powder dissolve.  That is it! Now you have some smelly paint.  I did find that q-tips work best...

I love these BLANK foam dice that I can program how I like.  I use them all the time.  Here is one way I use them and you get the free printables to make your own!  It’s your lucky day!  ;)  You will need a blank dice or just put the pictures over a dice that you already have. I love all the Holiday Themed Marshmallows they have out this year.   Not sure if they had the snowmen last year or if they are new this year, but they are yummy!!!  I have a free set of printables to go along with the Gingerbread, Snowmen, and Holiday shapes.  You just need to buy the mallows and you are set!  I got mine at Walmart. Found these at Target the other day.  They are cute Christmas themed fruit snacks in the shapes of Santa, trees, stars, and candy canes.  So of course I had to make a sorting and graphing sheet!!! Ok, I will admit that I have never made homemade play dough until the other day…  I am hitting myself as it was soooo easy to make and it does not seem to dry out like regular play-dough.  It is awesome.  I thought I would share the great recipe I used as well as a free play-dough mat for you to use with your play-dough.
