Cookie Crazy Review Game

Here’s a fun game to use with small groups or as a center.  You can use it to review any skill.  Also would be perfect for a fun Holiday party game…  Check it out room moms!!! Set Up: Place Three Plates of Cookies on the finish plate. Mix all playing cards up with the leftover plates of cookies and place face down on the section of the board marked card pile. Winter Snowball Fights!!!

Here’s a fun new game you can use to review math skills that have numbers as answers. Object of the game: Be the first player to cover up your fort with 24 snowballs by finding the answer to the questions on the cards (pages 16, 17, 18). Page 17 and 18 have blank cards that you can add your own skill to if you choose. Turkey Verbs

Pipe Cleaner Spiders

It’s that time of year…  when teachers and homeroom moms frantically look for some fun ideas to use on Halloween with their little monsters. Here’s an easy craft.  Beaded Pipe Cleaner Spiders. You need four black pipe cleaners and 24 beads of an any color. For each spider, gather four pipe cleaners in a bunch. Bend the bunch in half and then tightly twist the section near the fold several times to shape a slender spider body. Separate the pipe cleaner ends to create the spider’s legs. I love a great party!  There is one coming up in many classrooms around the USA!!!  In honor of Halloween parties everywhere, here are some fun party ideas and classroom learning fun for your next BOO – BASH!!! It had been since 2000 when I last visited Vegas with my husband.  We stayed in the Paris and had a great time.  This past weekend I went with some of my best friends from middle school/ high school.  It was one of the best weekends.  We didn’t sleep much but soaked it all in…  although this is not educational (unless you are looking to teach your class about American Culture)…  I have a few pictures to share. Hey everyone.  It’s been a bit since my last post.  I am trying to adjust to back to school.  I am not teaching Pre-K this year and have decided to go back into the classroom as a Substitute this year.  Subbing has it perks…  most importantly I make my schedule so I can still plug away at Teaching Heart and being a volunteer in my Children’s schools.  It also has it’s disadvantages!  #1 being I hate doing things other people’s way.  Meaning following another teachers style and classroom management.  I subbed about 16 years ago for four months before I landed...
