I wonder if what I am about to say is safe to say…  Here goes, “This was my kind of winter!  Hardly any snow.  No school delays or closings. If you have been a Teaching Heart fan for many years, you may remember how Teaching Heart had a huge resource page for Dr. Seuss (back in 2002-2005).  It had free printables and ideas to match many of the books.  Many of the free printables came from Teaching Heart fans that shared with all of you.  Unfortunately a few years ago I had to take it down when contacted by Seuss Lawyers.  Did you know that any Dr. Seuss pictures/graphics (even ones you draw or purchase) legally cannot be used on printables or websites?  I thought I was...

Here are two Printable DICE games  that could be used next week when learning about Leap Day or you can use these for a frog theme.  One is free and one is from our Leap Year Packet – You can order that here! First up is Roll a Leap Frog.  It’s an easy to draw frog that students use to play a game.  Provide dice per pair of students.  Students take turning rolling the dice and drawing the part of the frog.  As you can see in the picture, this student rolled a three.  So, they drew the arms of the frog. It’s snowing free printables thanks to all the teachers that participated in the Amazon Teaching Heart Holiday Printables Giveaway 2011. I love planning a party…  From Legos,  Thomas the Train, Star Wars, Princess, Gingerbread, Back to School, Cars, Spiderman, Christmas Games to School Parties; it’s way too much fun!  I think if I knew I could be a party planner and still love party planning for my family, I would become a party planner.  Sometimes when you call something a job you just don’t want to do it for fun any longer.  So I will stick to doing parties for my family and students.  Classroom parties are fun to plan too!  We just finished...
