Happy Halloween Week.  Here are three NEW free printables from Teaching Heart. One is a homework pass that I made for my class…  I stuck these in the treat bags I made them. Another is a Topper to a treat bag as seen in the first picture. Last is a topper to a religious treat bag that I made my Sunday School class.  You would need TOPS from the dollar store for this last printable. I love all the fun you can have with all the Halloween goodies at the Dollar Store and Target.  I wanted to share three activities that I used with my third graders over the past few days in math centers.  The printables to use with these activities are free to print and links are included. The first two are activities I created. 50th day PACKET

I know, I know…  most of us have not had the 1st day of school and I want to talk about the 50th day…  Sorry – but chances are on the 50th day I will be too busy to write this post and I want to share my resources with you before the big TPT sale on the 1st and 2nd.  By the time kids enter third grade they have over celebrated the 100th day…  so I focus on the 50th day of third grade with lots of fun activities.  Activities that are fun, but educational too!!!  Best way to learn is through fun!  I am going...

This is my second year teaching third grade in PA.  So, this is my second year of getting third graders ready to take the PSSA’s.  In my state this is the first time that students are exposed to the state tests.  I want it to be a positive experience for them.  I wanted to share some resources that have helped me make state testing time so worthwhile and also fun for my class.    I want their first memories of this time of year to be pleasant.   My goal for review before tests is to trick them into more learning fun… ...
