It’s almost Valentine’s Day! I thought I would share a free printable that would be great to use this week as your morning warm-up in grades two to three or just to print and use as extra practice of math facts at home.
But before that… have you had the 100th day celebration yet? I was in grade two this week when they were celebrating the 100th day… so I had to think quick for some fun activities to celebrate this fun day of being 100 days smarter… Luckily, I had roll to 100 with me from the Teaching Heart 100th Day packet and the kids loved playing the games in partners.
I also added ten 10’s to the board and throughout the day we stopped and did ten exercises (chosen by kiddos on task). By the end of the day we had exercised 100 times. The kids loved this… I even got down on the floor to do sit-ups when that was a request. You can also see where the winners for the 100’s day game got to write their names.
Last night I saw this below from Smitten with First and thought this would have been fun too… Always next year – check out her post about this fun activity!!!
Also, just finished printing out the 8 games of Left, Right, Post Office I will need for the third grade classrooms at my daughter’s school! This is going to be a fun VDAY party!!! You can find this game in the Teaching Heart Valentine’s Day Game Packet!!!Click here to add this game to your classroom party!
