Gingerbread Sorting and Some…

I love me some Gingerbread.  I think I first fell in love with the little guys and girls back when Jan Brett introduced us to the Gingerbread Baby and then she kindly shared Gingerbread Friends with us.  My teacher wheels started a spinning the first time I read her books…  Plus added bonus, her website is one of the best Children’s Author Websites filled with printables to match many of her stories.

Here is a free sorting activity from our Snowman and Gingerbread Friends Packet.

The student cuts out various pictures of snowmen and then sorts them on a sorting sheet (k-2). The student answers question independently (1-2) about their sorting sheet.

Check out Teaching Heart’s Gingerbread Page!!  It is full of free ideas to match a Gingerbread Unit…  You will LUV it!

Here are a few pics. of some of the goodies found in the new packet!!!

Here’s  a little gem I posted on the Teaching Heart Facebook Page last night!!!  Kindergarten Hoppening is sharing many free Gingerbread Printables like the one below…  THANK YOU!!!

I am going to go off subject here and send a thank you out to two sites that nominated Teaching Heart for EDUBLOG AWARDS!!!
THANK YOU Little Illuminations Blog and THANK YOU PRE-K Pages !  I am thankful and honored.
