My newest smoothie to celebrate fall!!! 170 calories (if you don’t eat the candy corn), large, and super filling. Tastes like pumpkin pie – a healthy version. Happy Fall! •1/2 cup pumpkin puree
•1/2 very ripe medium-sized banana (frozen)
•3/4 cup fat-free vanilla yogurt (I used Oikos 0% fat Greek vanilla yogurt)
•1 tbsp honey
•1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
•1/4 tsp vanilla extract + a dash of lemon juice
•1/2 cup crushed ice and 1/2 cup almond milk
-Place in your smoothy maker or blender and enjoy.
Below is the blender I have and love. Many of my friends now own one too because I am constantly talking this guy up..

Hi Heather… Hope you like it.. I have had it for lunch the last two days. I hope you like it!
We got all the groceries for this last night – CAN NOT wait to try it. Just deciding now if it would work better as a late morning snack or dessert. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe!
Happy Fall!
Thanks Susie. I moved the blog over to the Teaching Heart Domain from Blogger. All th eold posts are still here… so just a new look! Hope all is well with you!
I love the new look of the blog. Is it a new blog or just a new look?
I am sure it would taste good with regular milk. Probably a few more calories.
Let me know how you like it.
Thanks! I hope you enjoy it. I am loving it!
Yum–can’t wait to try this recipe! I’m always happy in the fall when our Culver’s Restaurant brings out its pumpkin shake — it’s my one-time fall indulgence, especially since no one in my family cares for pumpkin except me. Now I can enjoy that pumpkin taste without feeling guilty about the calories in a shake. Love that personal blender–I have one, too and use it all the time. Thanks for sharing the recipe, which I’m also pinning to my Pinterest board!
This looks amazing!!! I am going to make one this weekend!! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Does it taste good with regular milk? I’m not a fan of almond or soy milk.
